Sound Physicians Adds Services to Hospitals in the SSM Health System

Leading healthcare organization expands its partnership with SSM Health System

Tacoma, Wash. – December 8, 2017 – Sound Physicians, a leading healthcare organization focused on improving quality and lowering cost throughout the acute episode of care, today announced they are providing critical care and hospital medicine services at SSM Health DePaul Hospital, hospital medicine services to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital and continuing to provide critical care services for SSM Health St. Clare Hospital. These hospitals are a part of SSM Health, which is a faith-based hospital system in Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Wisconsin. SSM Health works to uphold their values of compassion, respect, excellence, stewardship, and community when caring for their patients.

Sound Physicians’ hospital medicine programs employ a team of 48 hospitalists and 16 advanced practice providers. Its critical care programs employ 14 critical care physicians and two advanced practice providers.
