Sound Physicians Enters Agreement to Provide Hospitalist Services at John Peter Smith Hospital
Organization Will Help Drive Results for 537-Bed Acute Care Hospital
Tacoma, Wash. – Dec. 3, 2013 – Sound Physicians, a leading hospitalist organization focused on driving improvements in quality, satisfaction and financial performance of inpatient healthcare delivery, announced today an agreement to provide hospitalist services for John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas.
Sound Physicians will provide hiring and management services for the hospitalist team at John Peter Smith Hospital by introducing informatics infrastructure, hospitalist team leadership and evidence-based processes to improve the quality and reduce the cost of health care. John Peter Smith Hospital is the inpatient arm of JPS Health Network, a respected leader in health care for Tarrant County. With 537 licensed beds, John Peter Smith Hospital includes the county’s only Level I Trauma Center and only psychiatric emergency department.
