Sound Physicians Expands Hospital and Emergency Medicine Services in the Northeast
Tacoma, WA – October 8th, 2019 – Sound Physicians, a national network of physicians committed to improving the quality of care while lowering the cost to patients, is now providing hospital and emergency medicine services in six new hospitals, inclusive to two large hospital systems, the Westchester Medical Center System and the Montefiore Health Care System in New York through a recently completed transaction with MedExcel USA, Inc. and its affiliates. Sound will provide these hospitals with a proven performance management model, a dynamic leadership team, and a robust infrastructure to help improve clinical outcomes.
Hospital Medicine care will be provided at:
- St. Joseph’s Medical Center
- Bon Secours Community Hospital
- Good Samaritan Hospital
Emergency Medicine services will be provided at:
- Bon Secours Community Hospital
- St. Anthony Community Hospital
- Montefiore Westchester Square Campus
- Montefiore Mount Vernon Hospital
Sound Physicians has an 18-year history of providing services across the acute episode of care – through emergency medicine, critical care, hospital medicine, population health, telemedicine, and physician advisory services.
