Sound Physicians Enters Agreement to Provide Hospitalist Services for Union Hospital
Tacoma, Wash. – October 30, 2015 – Sound Physicians, a leading healthcare organization with a proven record of improving quality of care, patient satisfaction, and financial performance for hospitals and post-acute facilities nationwide, announced today an agreement to provide hospitalist services for Union Hospital in Dover, Ohio. Union Hospital is a 154-bed hospital that Becker’s Hospital Review named one of the “100 Great Community Hospitals” in 2015. It is one of only six hospitals in the nation to achieve Platinum status with MIDAS+ based on effective utilization and clinical effectiveness. Sound Physicians will recruit a team of hospitalists to provide acute patient care for Union Hospital. Sound Physicians has 14 hospital partners and more than 200 providers in Ohio.
