Sound Physicians Enters Agreement to Provide Hospitalist Services at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center
Leading Hospitalist Organization Now Serves Trinity Health Hospitals across Four States
Tacoma, Wash. – Feb 21, 2013 –Sound Physicians, a leading hospitalist organization focused on driving improvements in quality, satisfaction and financial performance of inpatient healthcare delivery, announced today an agreement to provide hospitalist services at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka, Ind.
Sound Physicians will provide comprehensive hospitalist program services to the 254-bed hospital, taking over what had previously been a hospital-employed hospitalist program. In addition, the team will also support an area long-term acute care hospital. With the addition of Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Sound Physicians now serves Trinity Health hospitals in Idaho, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio. Trinity Health, based in Livonia, Mich., is the fourth largest Catholic healthcare system in the country.
