Sound Physicians Enters Agreement to Provide Hospitalist Services for Abrazo Health Care in Phoenix, AZ

Leading Hospitalist Organization Expands Services in Arizona

Tacoma, Wash. – April 29, 2013 – Sound Physicians, a leading hospitalist organization focused on driving improvements in quality, satisfaction and financial performance of inpatient healthcare delivery, announced today an agreement to provide hospitalist services for four Phoenix hospitals in the Abrazo Health Care system.

Abrazo Health Care operates six acute care hospitals in Phoenix, four of which Sound Physicians will now provide comprehensive hospitalist services for. The hospitals include: Maryvale Hospital, Phoenix Baptist Hospital, Paradise Valley Hospital, and West Valley Hospital. Sound Physicians will employ 39 experienced hospitalist physicians between the four hospitals.
